Does CI Wiz need a local MySQL server to run?

CI Wiz can connect to any MySQL or MariaDB server reachable from your Mac — local or remote. When you launch the app, you enter a host, port, username, and password just like any other MySQL client. Remote hosts (e.g. a staging server or a Docker container on a different port) work fine as long as your network allows the connection. One practical note: for local development, 127.0.0.1 is typically more reliable than localhost when using tools like Herd or MAMP.
